Peer Review Process
The Ecovisi Journal of Engineering & Technology Sciences (EJETS) applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific integrity of all submitted manuscripts.
Initial Screening
All submissions are reviewed by the Editorial Team to confirm alignment with the journal’s scope, adherence to formatting requirements, and compliance with ethical standards. Manuscripts that fail to meet these criteria may be returned without external review.
Plagiarism Check
All manuscripts are scanned using plagiarism detection software. Submissions with a similarity index exceeding the acceptable threshold will be rejected.
Reviewer Assignment
Manuscripts passing the initial checks are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant technical expertise. The double-blind review system ensures that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.
Review Criteria
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:
- Originality and technical contribution
- Theoretical foundation and literature review
- Research methodology, data accuracy, and reproducibility
- Clarity of presentation and technical writing
- Relevance to the journal’s engineering and technology focus
Review Timeline
Reviewers are allowed 2–4 weeks to complete their evaluations. Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewer feedback.
Decision Process
The Editorial Board considers reviewer recommendations before making one of the following decisions:
- Accept without changes
- Accept with minor revisions
- Revise and resubmit (major revisions)
- Reject
Revision and Resubmission
Authors must submit the revised manuscript within the stipulated deadline and include a detailed, point-by-point response to reviewer comments.
Final Decision & Proofreading
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final acceptance decision. Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting and proofreading to ensure accuracy and quality.
Publication
The final, approved version is published online in the scheduled issue and assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier).
